Drone Operator/ Drone Pilot

  I have a CAA Operational Autorisation to fly drones in the UK, I have been flying drones for 9 years. Working on a variety of content from LIVE OB's, Travelogues and documentaries.  I am often booked as drone pilot alongside a DOP and or a director.  I have been trusted to create many TV titles by drone.

I know about the legal use of drones in the UK and abroad, providing pre-deployment surveys, planning and health and safety.  I can advise productions on how to proceed with projects and write risk assessments for your production or advise you on the use of drones in your organisation, even if that is not TV. 

I work as a drone flight instructor and educator, training new pilots for the BBC and other media organisations. I have run training sessions for Screenskills , BECTU and BBC Academy. I work as a freelance flight instructor for Global Drone Training. Originally I was one of first few professional female drone pilots working in factual TV and the media industry and have actively encouraged others to get airborne, get qualified and increase their skill set.
